• Be confident to install and commission a basic Velbus based building control system.
• Be aware of different protocols and their advantages.
• Understand the acceptable forms​ of cabling topology and associated restrictions.
• Be able to identify Velbus modules and have a knowledge of their functions.
• Understand the principle of event driven actions.
• Have a hands on knowledge of Velbus hardware.
• Be capable of commissioning a Velbus system.
• Assemble and programme their own countertop demonstration unit and be confident in using it as a sales tool.
• Understand automation, remote control and prediction options.
• Complete an examination.
• Be aware of pricing structure.
• Be aware of remote control, automation and Commercial BMS interface options.
• Be a certified, Grade 1 Velbus installer, with direct access to UK installer support.
